Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in medical/surgical settings to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team
- Perform IV insertions and manage intravenous therapy
- Assist in family planning consultations and education
- Provide care for post-operative patients in the medical/surgical unit
- Conduct medical imaging procedures and interpret results
- Support infant care and provide education to new parents
- Administer injections and vaccines as needed
- Ventilate and monitor patients requiring respiratory support
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in medical/surgical nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Skilled in IV insertion and management
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with nursing home or home care environments is a plus
