The Camp Ramah Performing Arts Department is seeking a skilled AV Specilast to support and work as part of our Performing Arts Department. Over the course of the summer the performing arts team produces 3 musicals, a dance & song festival, and supports a Camp culture of music & song.
Professional/preprofessional level experience in setup, operation and breakdown of sound systems for live entertainment in theatre or concert, familiarity with analog and digital sound boards, comfortable setting up projectors and facilitating video playback from mac and PC computers, familiarity with hand and power tools, comfortable climbing ladders and scaffolding, ability to lift 50 lbs, able to work with small groups of children, on the spot trouble shooting, able to manage inventory, familiarity with standards stage/theatre practices, balance of patience and efficiency, team player
Helpful skills: organization, theatrical carpentry skills, basic electronics knowledge, can run xlr, snakes, HDMI, Cat 6,.
We look for strong collaborators to unify productions around their central vision focusing on the high standard to which Camp Ramah has become known. Our goal is to achieve high quality through the focus on process rather than product, whereby ideally, each and every camper is given individual attention of the artistic team in order to facilitate maximum growth and development of all the campers.
Dates: Camp runs from June 26 – August 15. Staff training & Set-Up is June 10 - June 25.
Compensation: $2000-$5000 depending on experience and position. Opportunities exist for additional responsibilities and bonuses. Room and Board provided while in residence at Camp.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
