Responsibilities:
- Review jobsite needs with Foreman and Superintendents to fully comprehend scopes of work per plans and specifications to complete job assignment.
- Support for the form carpenters and for the concrete operation in general, , and masons involved in the installation of block and brickwork (ironworkers /rodbusters involved in installing reinforcing steel) a plus.
- Assist carpenters in handling and setting door frames. This entails transporting the door frames from the storage area to the work areas and stacking the door frames where needed.
- Assists other skilled trades with construction projects including new construction, renovations, and other project types by loading, unloading, and distributing materials as assigned.
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used on commercial construction projects.
- Cleans and maintains concrete and forming tools.
- Assists in dismantling and transporting of construction materials.
- Operates pumps and equipment for site dewatering needs.
- Organizes and cleans conex containers and gang boxes daily.
- May assist with construction gate duty and flagging responsibilities.
- Responsible for accurate material identification and usage of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Responsible for operating a buck hoist safely and effectively/assists with demo operations.
- Responsible for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance and following OSHA standards.

- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
- 1 plus years commercial construction experience (Preferred).
- Apprentice and/or Vocational/Technical/Trade training (Preferred).
- In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Experienced in construction layout, blueprint reading and shop drawing reading.
- OSHA 10 Certification
- CPR & First Aid Certification

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
