Summary/Objectives
The Maintenance Technician position is a highly skilled multi-craft position that maintains and troubleshoots various equipment. This requires experience in understanding troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems. There is a strong emphasis on the troubleshooting and fine-tuning of electrical & PLC controls to ensure systems are operating at peak production requirements. This technician responds to all critical and emergency issues within the facility and is responsible for prioritizing multiple demands and making independent decisions based on critical needs.
Qualifications
- A two-year degree or equivalent experience in a maintenance related field
- Must have ability to troubleshoot and repair with strong mechanical aptitude
- Physically capable of manual labor including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
