What are the responsibilities and job description for the Depot Service Technician position at CardioQuip?
Summary
Serves customers in-house by installing and servicing systems and products at CardioQuip. Assists in maintaining CardioQuip equipment and facilities to ensure processes and procedures are adhered to and compliant.

Responsibilities
- Completes work orders, investigating complaints, conducting tests, and resolving problems
- Adhere to CardioQuip’s process and procedures
- Establishes service by studying system requirements, gathering components and parts, completing repairs, and performing acceptance tests.
- Suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements to management
- Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventive maintenance
- Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential and following HIPAA requirements.
- Ensure that machinery, equipment, and facilities, are maintained properly for general maintenance and service-related activities.
- Assisting in the assembly and fulfilment of parts and devices.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse the distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
