Cardinal Care Strategies is seeking a Housekeeping/Environmental Services professional to join our team in Muncie, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and janitorial services, preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dispose of trash and hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies
• Assist with laundry services as needed
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in housekeeping and janitorial services
• Experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
