Summary:
The Scheduler will have excellent verbal communication skills and understands the importance of delivering superb patient care in a demanding environment. This individual will play a pivotal role in patient care by coordinating clinical visits with our providers and patients. In this role, the ability to connect with patients and help them understand the importance of these visits will be the key to being successful.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to schedule patients for appointments.
- Coordinate and serve as liaison between health care facilities and clinicians and/or patients and clinicians.
- Coordinate procedures for patients and transportation if needed.
- Review patient schedules to maximize patient service.
- Accurately inputs all relevant patient information into computer.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to type 40 WPM is required
- Experience scheduling medical appointments or procedures required
- Bi-lingual candidates preferred
- Experience with EHR preferred
- Experience in medical field preferred
- Self-directed, proactive, and good problem solving skills
- Strong data entry, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- High integrity, team player with patient service focus
- Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of and adherence to all HIPAA rules and regulations
Essential Skills and Abilities

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $18.00-$20.00 per hour; individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
