Veterinary Technician / Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician / Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital, and possess a strong desire to provide exceptional care to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in exam rooms and surgery
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
- Assist with radiographs and ultrasounds
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Clean and maintain equipment and facilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited veterinary technician program or equivalent experience as a veterinary assistant
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
