The Social Services Director will be responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of all service programs under the Consolidated Waiver. - Oversee and direct the delivery of services to individuals enrolled in the Consolidated Waiver program.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with ODP regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes for individuals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure quality care, individualized support plans, and compliance with all waiver guidelines.
- Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Manage, mentor, and support a team of service coordinators, case managers, and other staff involved in the delivery of waiver services.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and create development plans for staff.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented environment that fosters professional growth and ensures quality service delivery.
- Ensure all services and documentation are compliant with state and federal requirements, including ODP guidelines and Medicaid regulations.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to monitor service delivery, safety, and satisfaction.
- Prepare for and manage external audits and program reviews.
- Develop and monitor incident reports and corrective action plans as needed.

- Act as a liaison between the agency, ODP, families, and other external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and advocacy organizations to support the individuals we serve.
- Participate in meetings, committees, and conferences to stay current on policy changes and best practices.
- Budgeting & Resource Management:
- Work with the leadership team to develop and manage budgets for services under the Consolidated Waiver.
- Monitor expenditures to ensure services are delivered within budget and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for cost-effective service delivery without compromising quality.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within the IDD or healthcare sector.
- At least 3 years of experience working with the Consolidated Waiver or other ODP programs.
- Proven experience in program management, staff supervision, and service delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of ODP regulations, Medicaid requirements, and best practices in IDD services.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
