What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cross Curricular Specialist position at Carlsbad Municipal Schools?
Position Purpose:
- Under the general supervision of the Directors of Curriculum and Instruction to develop, coordinate, support and evaluate Carlsbad Municipal School District curriculum and to serve as a resource and consultant for instructional staff and principal’s to improve students' success.
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in education.
- A valid New Mexico Level 3 License with endorsements and/or experience specific to the specialty area of the position.
- Five or more years of professional related experience in education as a teacher, coach and/or administrator.
- Proven interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and participate with staff and the public.
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, may be substituted for other requirements.
