About The Role
Cars Commerce is seeking a remote Inside Business Development Sales Intern who will work closely with Marketplace Specialists and Regional Sales Managers, assisting in projects and activities focused on supporting the sales team in driving revenue, customer growth, and prospect prioritization. About The Role
Cars Commerce is seeking a remote Inside Business Development Sales Intern who will work closely with Marketplace Specialists and Regional Sales Managers, assisting in projects and activities focused on supporting the sales team in driving revenue, customer growth, and prospect prioritization. This is a unique opportunity to learn what makes a company like Cars Commerce, its employees, and customers successful!
Responsibilities Include
- Learn about the automotive industry and the importance of effective advertising through 1st party data
- Create, package and distribute sales collateral, reporting data, & insights to dealers as requested
- Research and provide daily talking points to Regional Sales Managers for sales huddles & slack groups including industry information, trends, and dealer tips
- Assist in the coordination and communication of monthly sales contests as needed
- Analyze reporting & data to assist with identifying high-value prospects
- Weekly reporting and analysis as requested by RSMs to assist in new business growth
- Appointment-setting calls to increase pipeline opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Plan and shadow dealer meetings alongside Business Development Representatives to experience the full sales cycle from start to finish
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and a desire to work on challenging projects
- Organized and detail-oriented with a can-do approach to projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and G-Suite
- Proven ability in analyzing data & creating metrics
- Positive attitude with a desire to network and learn from others
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly to meet the needs of the team and dealer prospects
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communications or related major
- Sales experience over the phone or in person preferred

Program Details & Benefits
- Program Duration: June 9th - August 15th
- Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Location: Hybrid (Work remote and work from the office 1-2 days out of the week)
