What is the role where you will add value?
Home Delivery Service Driver :
The Home Delivery Service Driver is responsible for moving cars from our locations directly to customers. He / she will coordinate with fellow CarShop associates to ensure the safe, timely delivery of customer vehicles.
What will you do when you deliver to our customers?
- Load, secure and deliver vehicles to and from customer destination as assigned by management.
- Operate company and customer owned vehicles in a safe manner, in accordance with posted traffic signs and both state and local ordinances.
- Comply with all DOT safety regulations and company safety policies. Keep a driver log.
- Maintain open lines of communication. Communicate any issues or delays for the current run which may affect the timely delivery of vehicles.
- Model company culture and values while performing work so that customers witness first-hand the teamwork and value we provide with excellent service and products.
- Be familiar with the processes and paperwork necessary to complete a vehicle sales transaction. Explain all delivery paperwork to customers and answer all questions, including the availability, cost, and benefits of all aftermarket products.
- Introduce customers to the services provided by our Service Department at delivery and review the operating features of each vehicle.
- Other assigned duties as delegated by management.
