We are seeking an experienced collegiate Golf Coach to lead the Carson-Newman University Women's Golf Team within the Christian Faith and working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in golf, ideally with collegiate playing and coaching experience. The candidate should also have a proven track record for developing players and recruiting to the NCAA D2 and D1 levels. This role involves instructing players on golf techniques and fostering a positive and encouraging environment that promotes growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging golf training programs tailored to the needs of the women's golf team members.
- Educate students on golf rules, etiquette, and strategies for improvement.
- Conduct regular practice sessions, providing constructive feedback to enhance skills.
- Monitor student progress and adjust training methods as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Organize and lead golf tournaments and other events to promote participation in fundraising opportunities.
- Collaborate with other coaches or staff members to create a well-rounded athletic program.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
- Conduct the program within the NCAA rules and regulations for Division 2.
- Manage the budget and provide monthly forecasts and expense sheets
- Recruit to maintain a roster and discount rate that meets yearly expectations.
- Maintain and manage a competitive yearly tournament schedule.

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree with preference to Masters Degree
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate students effectively.
- Experience at the Collegiate level.
- Clean driver's license and the experience and ability to drive a van.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including multiple overnights and weekends during tournament season.
- Must be authorized to work in USA
