Summary
• Perform Landscaping and Snow removal duties as well as a variety of maintenance duties in and around the hospital campus and outlying buildings. Assists tradesmen in completing their tasks; repairs and maintains machinery, and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on equipment and systems as required
- Assists in replacing, installing, and repairing critical systems in the hospital as directed.
- Performs life safety /regulatory compliance inspections and corrections.
- Assist all trades with trouble shooting and necessary repairs and installations.
- Insures facilities fleet vehicles are well maintained and proper documentation is in vehicles.
- Documents and completes incident reports, utility and equipment outages/failures, and logs actions taken.
- Reports and documents all life safety and fire hazards observed on routine rounds and corrects deficiencies.
- Assists in projects, moves, and in maintaining keep stock supplies
- Completes morning environmental exterior rounds and removes debris from campus.
- Performs all landscaping and snow removal duties at all CTH properties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
o Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
o General Knowledge of all trades.
o Must be able to use all power tools.
o Must be able to read and interpret general building plans, and equipment diagrams.
o Current unrestricted driver’s license.
o Performs other related duties as assigned.
o Landscaping Experience.
