What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant position at Cary Chiropractic and Massage?
Come grow with us! Looking for a part-time chiropractic assistant position at Cary Chiropractic and Massage, located in the Parkway Professional Park. We have Monday through Friday office hours, with some Saturdays (usually 1-2 times a month and on a rotating schedule). We are looking for a self-starter with a great personality that can hit the ground running! You MUST have excellent people skills.
This position’s primary duties include posting insurance payments, calling insurance companies, and verifying insurance benefits. You will also be cross trained in front desk duties (answering phones, making appointments, taking payments, etc), patient flow, taking blood pressures, applying therapies to patients (electrical muscle stimulation, heat, ultrasound, infrared therapy, and intersegmental traction), and be able to demonstrate exercises to patients. Interpersonal skills and communication are a must, with outstanding customer service being your top priority. You also will be responsible for light office cleaning.
Experience in insurance is a plus. Chiropractic certification is a plus. Knowledge of ChiroTouch is a plus. While these are all great, we will train the right person. Starting at $16-18 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include: paid holidays, complimentary chiropractic care, and other in-office discounts. Reliable transportation is required.
