ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to Athletic Director & Building Principal
HOURS: Full-time

GENERAL SUMMARY: This position assists the Athletic Director in assuring efficient operations of the Athletic Department and will require working directly in many cases with coaches, students, parents, administrators, volunteers, and school staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Operations
- Lead contact with Arbiter Sports (officials)
- Assist the Athletic Director in the scheduling of athletic teams
- Send, log & track all game contracts for athletics
- Updating master game schedule/ Contact schools on game reminders
- Paying entry fees for athletic events/tracking invoices
- Working with a sports medicine trainer in tracking all physicals
- Coaches contact (phone calls/emails etc.)
- Responsible for cash boxes, rosters and assist AD with volunteers for money collection for all home games
- Honors, Awards and Eligibility - Tracks GPA’s and varsity sports asneeded
- Work with a photographer for all team pictures
- Update and work with head coaches on the athletic department website
- Assist AD with Community Night organization (fall/winter)/ National Signing Day organization (winter/spring)
- Office contact with the concession manager
- Office contact with sports program team moms
- Assist AD with Summer Sports Camps/ Charger Golf Scramble (office contact/record keeping)
- Inventory of all office athletic supplies
- Main contact for summer youth programming
- Assist attendance assistant and main office assistant as needed
- Other duties assigned by administrative staff
- Additional pay is available if working after-school contests.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma with experience working in an office environment.
Experience: Experience in an Athletic Department is desired but not required. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, etc.
Require: Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality. Great communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving ability. Should be flexible and able to multitask.
Physical Demands: While on-site, the employee is expected to perform duties that are most typical of an office setting and/or game management setting.
