The Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club is a private nonprofit social, athletic and recreational club. We provide golfing, yachting, swimming, tennis, dining and other social, recreational and athletic facilities for the pleasure and recreation of our Members, their Families and invited Guests. Our mission is to provide a family-oriented environment that supports close personal contact and fellowship among Members.
Responsibilities
Manage operation of aquatic facilities, activities, swimming programs and department staff.
Manage operations with an assigned budget.
Adhere to aquatic safety standards and guidelines.
Hire aquatic staff including lifeguards and swim instructors.
Continues training of lifeguard staff throughout the summer.
Plan and organize swim lesson schedule.
Plan and organize staff schedules and workloads.
Work with committee members to develop rules and regulations.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs of aquatic facility and equipment.
Qualifications
Must be Lifeguard/CPR and First Aid certified.
Must obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) within 1 month of accepting the position.
Great leadership, organization and management skills.
Must be able to work with employees and country club members well.
Salary : $20,000 - $25,000
