This position is for second shift working Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:30 AM with required training for certification on first shift for approximately the first 3 to 4 months.

Duties:
- Set up / change over of milling / machining operations
- Use calipers & micrometers accurately to inspect work
- Operate and maintain machines used in the production process
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper functioning
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Inspect finished products for quality control and make adjustments as necessary
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
-Machining / milling experience
- Experience with micrometers & calipers
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software for machine operation
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and ability to perform basic inspections
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with tooling and ability to fabricate parts as needed
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Note: Previous experience as a machining or milling operator in a manufacturing environment is required.
