We are seeking a skilled Woodworker to join our team, specializing in the restoration and fabrication of wooden railings, structures, and furniture. Duties
- Construct, repair, and restore wooden handrails, stairs, structures, furniture, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete larger projects.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and completed projects.
- Fabricate custom pieces based on client specifications or design plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in woodworking or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of restoration techniques within the restoration industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) safely.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools specific to woodworking tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with team members.
- A maintenance person background is beneficial for troubleshooting various tasks around the workshop.
