Our Verona client is seeking out a part time HR specialist.

Position: HR Specialist
Wage: $24/hr (based on experience)
Shift: 2-3 days a week (16-24 hours/week during regular business hours)
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist with the hiring process by posting job ads, reviewing resumes, scheduling
interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Onboarding: Facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring all paperwork is completed and new employees are
properly integrated into the company.
- Employee Records: Maintain and update employee files, ensuring compliance with company policies and
legal requirements.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance,
leave requests, and other HR-related inquiries.
- Employee Relations: Address basic employee concerns and assist in conflict resolution or escalate issues
to senior HR staff when necessary.
- Compliance & Reporting: Support HR compliance by ensuring that all employee records are up-to-date
and adhere to relevant labor laws and company policies.
- General HR Administration: Provide general HR administrative support, including preparing HR reports,
handling HR-related queries, and assisting with other HR tasks as assigned.
Preferred Education, Background & Skills:
- Proven experience in an HR role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.
