Description
The Technology Department is seeking an experienced and competent Report Developer to build, maintain, and analyze reports and dashboards. The Report Developer will be responsible for ensuring data related projects are completed within established timelines, communicating with project stakeholders, and coordinating with outside vendors. The Report Developer should know how to build automated reports using POWER BI and other reporting systems and have experience creating and maintaining data warehouses.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools

Unify data from multiple sources and structures, i.e., MSFT Power Platform, Oracle NetSuite

Analyze data and display it in reports to aid decision-making

Make technological adjustments to current BI systems to improve their performance

Convert business needs into technical specifications and establish a timetable for job completion

Analyze current ETL procedures to define and create new systems

Exhibit a foundational understanding of database concepts such relational database architecture, multidimensional database design, etc

Communicate with nontechnical business users to determine specific business requirements for reports and business intelligence solutions

Communicates regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity, security and optimized performance at the application and database level

Maintains an accurate and comprehensive inventory of data, data systems, and data storage

Processes data extracts using data retrieval and management tools

Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with Microsoft Power BI and other advanced reporting and data modelling tools.

Experience creating and maintaining data warehouses from multiple sources, data formats, and structures.

Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Integration Services, and Reporting services
