Responsible to the Lead Technician for performing general maintenance duties to include maintenance and repairs in buildings.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical and plumbing equipment including fixtures, lamps, ballasts, exit and emergency lighting, showers, faucets, toilets, drains and miscellaneous plumbing.
Maintain and repair fire alarm systems.
Install, maintain, and repair HVACR equipment.
Perform daily maintenance on central boiler and chiller plants
Utilize Central Maintenance Management System for daily work orders, assist with distribution of work order assignment to the team.
Utilize Building Automation System for scheduling and trouble shooting.
Perform general maintenance work maintaining facilities in a safe condition always working to maintain full use of facilities.
Remove snow and ice as needed.
Assist all areas across campus as needed to maintain a safe, effective, and efficient environment.
Operate and maintain equipment and tools as well as college owned vehicles provided for work needs in neat and professional manner.
This position participates in the on-call rotation for evening and weekend emergencies.

Job Requirements:
High School diploma/GED with the ability to do simple math functions.
Must have training equivalent to one to three years of applied plus one to three years of effective experience.
Valid Driver's License required.
Ability to use/climb a ladder safely, as well as lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Must be available to return to work during off shift hours when on call.
Must be able to receive and process work orders via electronic device.
This position participates in the on-call rotation for evening and weekend emergencies.
