Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize Montessori techniques and other educational frameworks to enhance children's learning experiences.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement strategies to promote good conduct.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student development and address any concerns.
- Facilitate physical education activities that promote gross motor skills and overall health.
- Support early intervention strategies for children who may require additional assistance in their learning journey.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Have 12 semester units or 18 quarter units of early childhood education
- Ability to pass a background check
- Completion of pre-employment assessments
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience with Montessori methods is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental stages of preschool children.
