Job Summary:
The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the organization’s information technology programs including the management of applications, business continuity, Helpdesk operations, information security, infrastructure, IT projects, and personnel management. The incumbent is responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of the organization’s information technology infrastructure and operations to support CentroNía’ s strategic initiatives and daily operations.
Essential responsibilities:
- Responsible for oversight of CentroNia’s IT infrastructure and IT staff.
- Provides strategic vision for integrating multiple diverse IT infrastructures.
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
- Plans, facilitates, and participates in quality improvement activities for the IT Department.
- Responsible for the functionality, availability, integrity, confidentiality, and efficiency of IT systems and applications
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. (Opportunity to mentor and develop emerging IT talent.)
- Implement security of the network, data, and its storage and communications systems.
- Evaluate new technology and recommend hardware, software, and application upgrades to assure the availability, continuity, and security of data.
- Plan and manage IT projects while adhering to nonprofit budget constraints and resource availability.
- Act as the primary point of contact and work with vendors, providers, and communicate with stakeholders about project status as needed.
- Train Users on technology systems, procedures and protocols.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor network systems, including configuration, performance, and security.
- Configure, monitor, maintain, and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, Active Directory, Office 365 and print servers.
- SIP/VoIP phones functionality and support
- Review, validate, and deploy software updates and patches as needed (Windows, Accounting Software, etc.)
- Review and manage Service Level Agreements and contracts with IT vendors.
- Server performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage IT Department staff, and collaborate with IT Consulting company and external vendors to triage and troubleshoot systems issues.
- Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the IT Department, ensuring compliance with the organization's policies, budget, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Provide expertise in IT, develop, implement, and maintain policies and solutions.
- Mentor and motivate IT staff to achieve Departmental goals and provide excellent customer service to all CentroNía stakeholders.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
