Purpose

The Financial Business Analyst will work to improve a company’s profitability by analyzing its finances and business model. Your duties include reviewing company budgets, making recommendations, and helping to refine operations and increase efficiency. To excel in this job, you must have ample experience in reviewing budgets. Ideal skills include understanding how finances impact business operations and using your judgment to make recommendations for reducing costs, generating more revenue, and improving financial reporting. You will be a member of a team that collects, processes, analyzes, and visualizes data that provides meaningful insights and informs decision-making to leadership in accordance with all laws, regulations and Century Park standards. Reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.


Working Conditions

  • Subject to frequent interruptions
  • Involved with associates, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances
  • Subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, etc.
  • May work beyond normal working hours when necessary

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) software highly desired

Primary Job Responsibilities
Below is a description of basic job duties though other related duties may become necessary as directed by supervisor.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in various aspects of senior living operations
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and provide data-driven solutions
  • Utilize statistical tools and techniques to interpret data and create predictive models for decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data quality control processes with expert knowledge of financial reports and how to pull information into dashboards for forecasting and and predictive analysis.
