Job Summary
The Business Analyst will facilitate assigned projects by serving as a liaison between users and developers, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results. Partners with Account Managers, Project Managers and other team members to assure project details and tasks are organized, communicated and completed so that the needs of the customer can be met in a timely manner.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Document, organize, and disseminate project details.
- Continuously follow up and communicate to ensure all pertinent parties are up to date on the status of project tasks and milestones.
- Assure project details and documents are organized, up-to-date, and accessible.
- Collaborate with account managers and project managers to determine the scope of projects and document details.
- Proactively reviews projects with appropriate personnel to identify potential issues and/or missing data to ensure they are effectively communicated and handled in a timely manner.
- Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Proofs financial reports for clerical accuracy.
- Reconciles department reports for assigned areas.
- Prepares reports for internal use.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities, including orders, sales, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills (written, verbal, and presentation) to clearly articulate project details.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (candidates must pass an Excel assessment) and Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- ERP and MRP experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Business and financial acumen.
- Excellent organizational time-management skills.
- Knowledge of office practices and clerical/accounting procedures.
- Knowledge of accounting software.
Supervision Received:
Works with minimal supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Previous project management or sales experience preferred.
- Accounting or other Business-related degree preferred
Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Stationary work: requiring the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
