Champion Fasteners is a leading manufacturer and marketer of stud welding fasteners and specialty fasteners for the industrial OEM market. With a national network of independent resellers, direct access to key end users, and a team of agents in selected geographical areas, we provide our customers with superior quality products and service.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Shipper and Receiver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of goods, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and pack products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare shipping paperwork, including packing lists and bill of lading.
- Receive and process incoming shipments, including verifying contents against bill of lading and packing list.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate with other departments and suppliers to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Good understanding of shipping and receiving procedures and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Driver’s license is required.
- Must be able to lift 65 lbs.
