Front Desk Specialist (Part-time) (Entry level)

Charleston Plastic Surgery is looking for an entry-level Front Desk Specialist to join our team part-time! From booking appointments and medical spa services, to assisting with our skincare and cosmetic sales, this position is the go-to for all patient questions and concerns!

Charleston Plastic Surgery, a division of Charleston ENT and Allergy, has been serving the Charleston area longer than any other plastic surgery practice. CPS was built on the foundation of providing excellent care and building relationships that last for generations. CPS consists of two plastic surgeons, a nurse practitioner, and a licensed esthetician to ensure our patients meet their aesthetic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Checks patients in and out for appointments.
• Schedules appointments for patients.
• Collects payment from patients.
• Answers patient inquiries by phone, fax, or in person.
• Completes chart review for following day’s cases.
• Handles charts to include filing, maintenance, and shipment to other offices.
• Verifies and transmit schedules to transcription.
• Enters demographics into patient information systems.
• Conduct consultation to promote / sell cosmetic products.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage inventory.

CPS is looking for someone to work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and potentially the occasional Friday!

This position is ideal for someone who is interested in the plastics or the medical spa industry. CPS prides themselves on being able to train the right candidate on all things plastics and med spa! Our ideal candidate will demonstrate maturity and compassion when assisting patients, providers, and fellow co-workers and have a team oriented mindset. Candidates must be able to efficiently use computers and previous customer service is preferred.

CPS offers a transparent pay scale with the starting rate for this position is $16.50, a potential increase to $17.50 by your six month anniversary, and $18 by your first anniversary.
