Your day to day as a Front Desk / Referrals Medical Assistant

As a Full-Time Front Desk / Referrals Medical Assistant at Child Health Associates, your daily responsibilities will include greeting patients with warmth and professionalism, managing appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate patient records. You'll handle phone inquiries, ensuring timely responses to questions regarding referrals, insurance verification, and appointment confirmations. Daily tasks will also involve reviewing and managing incoming referral requests, tracking the status of referrals, communicating with families to gather essential information and verify insurance details. You will coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely scheduling of appointments and accurate dissemination of medical records.
