Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the office, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance, billing, surgical pre-authorization, office/staff management within a dental setting.

  • Oversee daily operations of the dental office to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage patient scheduling, billing, and insurance claims processing while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Supervise and train office staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility within the practice.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with dental providers to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
  • Conduct regular audits of office practices to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Utilize practice management systems effectively to streamline operations.

Experience

  • Proven experience in office management within a medical or dental setting is required.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards is essential.
  • Experience with budgeting and fiscal management in a clinical environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in practice management software
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff professionally.
  • A background in clinic or hospital settings is a plus.
