This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic pediatric healthcare innovation environment. The intern will support various pediatric healthcare innovation projects, including but not limited to VR/AR/XR visualization, 3D printing/additive manufacturing, application development, data-driven research, and related technologies. Essential Functions
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of innovative healthcare solutions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, engineers, and researchers to understand project requirements and contribute to project development.
- Support the creation and production of 3D printed models and prototypes for modeling, medical applications.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and their potential applications in pediatric healthcare.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and instructional materials.
- Participate in the testing and evaluation of new medical devices and technologies.
- Help organize and participate in team meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and protocols within the innovation center.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Design, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field Required and
- Basic knowledge of 3D printing technology and software (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks, or similar), VR platforms, and computer science Preferred
- Problem-solving skills and a keen interest in pediatric healthcare innovation (High proficiency)
- Communication and teamwork (High proficiency)
- Managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines (Medium proficiency)
