Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities that are thematic, engaging, and meet high-quality standards.
- Support the assessment of each child's development, tailoring the curriculum to meet diverse needs.
- Contribute to a warm and safe classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Maintain open and empathetic communication with parents and guardians, offering regular updates on their children’s progress and daily activities.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and training workshops.
- Help manage classroom resources, ensuring all materials are readily available and well-maintained.
- Consistently monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in assisting with teaching children in a preschool or similar setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Familiarity with educational and safety regulations in childcare.
- Demonstrable understanding of diverse educational methods and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and nurturing.
- Physical ability to engage actively with children.
