*Job Summary*
Under the supervision of the Clinical Director ,MD, NP, RN,LVN, the Medical Assistant will be responsible for preparing patients for physician; take vital signs, record patient charges, record patient history and assist in minor office procedures. As an Urgent Care Medical Assistant, your primary responsibility is to support healthcare providers in delivering efficient and high-quality medical care to patients in an urgent care setting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow, providing assistance to healthcare professionals, and maintaining a well-organized and patient-friendly environment.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care services
- Provide attentive and compassionate patient service
- Support urgent care needs as directed by medical staff
- Collaborate with hospital medicine teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Assist in outpatient procedures and treatments
- Perform basic life support tasks when required
- Utilize ystems for patient documentation and information retrieval
*Experience*
- Medical Assistant Certification is required
- Familiarity with hospital environments and protocols is preferred
- Basic life support certification is required
- Knowledge of medical systems and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.95 per hour
