To thrive as a Customer Service / Call Center Representative at Christian Community Credit Union, you will need a diverse set of skills and experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year in a customer service role within a banking or credit union environment. Demonstrated cross-selling experience is essential, and familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software, particularly Word and Excel, will be beneficial. Experience dealing with the public in a call center environment, and bilingual skills in English & Spanish, are preferred.
Your capability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment will be crucial. Excellent telephone techniques, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, will help you build rapport with members, while a good math aptitude and typing speed of 35 words per minute will support your success in processing transactions efficiently.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of experience working in a customer service position for a bank/credit union required
- Cross-selling experience required
- Minimum one year of experience dealing with the public in a call center environment preferred
- Knowledge of word processing (Word preferred) and spreadsheets (Excel preferred)
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles preferred
