Job Description
1.Leave of absence management including FMLA, ADA, TRD and worker’s compensation. Process all revelant forms and track as required.
2. Manage procedures for return to work light duty; Assist employees in the process.
3. Manage and track yearly physicals for all sworn employees .
4. Prepare weekly status reports for the Command Staff.
5. Handle all Human Resource related situations that arise within the department.
6. Review and track all OSHA related incidents and submit the yearly report.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONALREQUIREMENTS:
Requires an associate’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience in human resources management or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCE:
In addition to satisfying the vocational/educational standard, this class requires a minimum of six months of related, full-time equivalent experience.

SPECIALREQUIREMENTS:
Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
