Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee

This position reports directly to the Wastewater Supervisor and follows on-the-job training from the Class III Wastewater Operator and a professional educational program in wastewater treatment plant operation to become a certified plant operator; This position performs a variety of duties that include the wastewater treatment plant, including but not limited to: maintaining the plant, performing basic maintenance on equipment, collecting and testing samples, calling in flow values, transporting samples, and operating lift stations and water wells.
