About the Position
We are looking for a Service Assistant to be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team.
You’ll report to the Regional Plant Manager at our Kalispell, MT location, focusing on these key responsibilities:
- Smoothly answer and operate phone system, communicating with customers in a professional manner.
- Assist Service Coordinator to answer customer inquiries and schedule service work.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers or suppliers in a professional manner.
- Process and bill completed work orders daily
- Perform various clerical functions to include copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving/distributing documents.
- Accept and process payments.
- Establish, organize and finalize new customer accounts.
- Perform data entry of delivery tickets, and other account information as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft products, and the ability to learn new programs.
- Basic math ability
- Basic understanding of propane mechanics and/or the ability to learn.
- Recent telephone/receptionist and or customer service experience.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
- Work in moderate noise levels.
- Work with minimum supervision.
