Qualifications:
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or LMHP-Eligible with the State of Virginia
- Master's Degree in a related human services field
- EMDR Certification preferred
- 3 years of experience in direct services with individuals diagnosed with mental illness
- Deep understanding of effective mental health treatment modalities and best-practice approaches
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outpatient individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis management and psycho-education services
- Conduct initial client intake and assessment; develop and implement tailored treatment plans
- Maintain and update diagnostic assessments and records, providing accurate DSM-V diagnoses
- Ensure thorough documentation for clinical and record-keeping purposes
- Review documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports, as needed
- Undertake additional duties within the scope of the position as required
