Job Description
Clampitt Paper is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Business Development team as a Specification Sales Representative. We are looking for someone who is driver, intelligent, creative, and entrepreneurial. As a Specifications Representative, you will play a crucial role in connecting with a diverse community of paper enthusiasts, including graphic designers, artists, printmakers, and stationery aficionados.
Duties include:
Hosting customers and educating them on paper product selection and creative applications.
Maintain close relationships with supplier representatives to ensure access to the finest materials in the industry.
Promoting the elegance and creative potential of paper products, making every day a celebration of these remarkable mediums.
Expertly match our products and services to client needs.
Act as an ambassador for our products and services in the advertising, print, and design community.
Schedule and conduct appointments to demonstrate the unique value of our offerings.
Provide high-level client service and follow-up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
Build trust and credibility with both internal and external clients.
Record activities, follow-ups and collateral placement in the CRM system.
Be flexible in meeting the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling, attending team meetings and training.
Work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to evolve product specification strategy and execution.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A college degree or equivalent is required.
- You are required to work full-time five days per week in office.
- Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Windows-based programs.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver license, proof of insurance.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and engage in various physical activities.
- Relationship building and sales experience is a plus.
- Experience in the paper/print/design-related industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication, time management, organizational, planning and presentation skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
