Position Description: Management position with responsibilities focused upon coordination of activities regarding the plant’s maintenance functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
-Maintain machine and equipment capability and calibration.
-Manage Maintenance Work Order system and assign/complete work orders.
-Perform all facility maintenance (power, water, air, materials, etc.).
-Requestion tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
-Conduct safety walk through monthly with management team.
-Monitor Predictive and Preventative maintenance system and schedule.
-Conduct Lock out/Tag out, Crane, Confined Space, and Scissor lift training.
-Maintain all aspects of building and grounds maintenance where applicable.
-Plan, develop, and implement new continuous improvement activities for operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
-Review production, quality, and maintenance reports to plan and modify maintenance activities.
-Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
-Review new product plans for equipment needs and modifications.
-Ability to generate purchase orders, as needed.
-Actively participate in leadership team and support continuous improvement efforts.
-Participate in safety reviews.
-Maintain company vehicles, including powered industrial trucks.
-Send out RFQs, as required.
-Initiate and participate, as needed, in internal problem solving/improvement activities.
-Other duties as assigned by management.
Other Requirements:
-Associate’s degree or 2 years of related experience and/or training.
-Proficient use of personal computers and computer operation within a network environment.
-Ability to communicate with all levels of associates.
-Perform intermediate math functions – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.
-Ability to apply rates, cycle times, and other production qualities.
-Lifting up to 50 lbs.
-Requires moderate bending, twisting, and walking.
-Able to support overtime during the week or weekends.
