What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Representative-FT- Plains position at Clark Fork Valley Hospital?
Plains Family Medicine is seeking a candidate to fill a Patient Services Representative position. The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is often the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The sucessfull applicant must have the upmost standard of customer service while performing the duties outlined for the position. The PSR needs to have a keen eye for detail to ensure that patient information is accurately verified and meticulously entered into the health records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receive visitiors and register patients
- Preparation of daily provider schedules and other statistical reports.
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering incoming calls, taking and delivering messages to staff and daily patient confirmation calls.
- Process incoming and outgoing medical record requests.
- Securing all patient health information by closing and locking work area when unattended

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years previous medical office experience preferred.
Schedule- Day shift 36-40 hrs. /Weekly Compensation- $16.00-$22.00
