Lead Childcare Educator

Summary

We are seeking a Lead Educator to join our Toddler class with our Livingston team. As a Lead Toddler Educator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children aged 18 months to 3 years old. You will work closely with our team of educators to ensure that each child receives individualized attention and care. Your role will be critical in fostering a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth.

Duties

• Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers
• Provide individualized attention and care to each child
• Collaborate with other educators to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 years experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1 years experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
