Accounting Clerk
Full Time
$18-21/Hour
Location: Corporate Office 127 Town Center Blvd. Clermont, FL 34714
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
- Arrange documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
- General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports
- Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of an array of sources
- Aid Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing
- Broadcast financial information to journals and ledgers
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, process daily invoices/credit, and help with collection of past due balance
- Knowledge of bank reconciliations
- Cash management experience
- SAP experience
- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of accounting software
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Intermediate Excel experience
- V-look-Ups and Pivot Table experience is a MUST
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university is preferred, or a minimum of two years of experience in general accounting
