Summary

Learn from Senior CME Staff and performmaterial testing services on commercial construction sites and in our laboratory. We expect this Co-op position to be full-time hours with occasional overtime, from May through December 2025.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Test construction materials such as soils and concrete for quality assurance
• Read construction drawings and specifications and correctly interpret test results
• Complete each testing assignment accurately and in accordance with appropriate standards
• Record and report test results in a clear, concise manner
• Communicate regularly with direct supervisor to provide updates on project details
• Complete continuing education and preparation for additional certifications through the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and / orInternational Code Council (ICC)
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering / Technology, Geology, or related
• Ability to obtain certifications through American Concrete Institute (ACI) and / or International Code Council (ICC) with full support from CME
• Familiarity with construction materials, procedures, and documents a plus
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  
  

Compensation: $18.00/hour
