Assistant Project Manager

Job Description: Coastal Masonry & Contracting is hiring a full-time Assistant Project Manager to help support our growing field operations. This individual will work closely with our Project Manager to coordinate and manage on-site activities, while improving efficiency along the way. We are looking for someone with a solution-oriented, positive mindset. The responsibilities of this job will include, but not be limited to, performing material takeoffs, submitting on specified materials, attending preconstruction meetings, scheduling, and ordering materials. At Coastal Masonry & Contracting, this individual will also be given the unique opportunity to work with our in-house Professional Engineer. We perform all the engineering required for the use of our scaffolding.

Responsibilities:

· Masonry scope material takeoff using PlanSwift

· Submitting specified materials

· Project material buyout

· Fielding project questions

· Scheduling projects and field employees

· Ordering materials

· Attending preconstruction meetings

Qualifications:

· BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

· Capability to read construction drawings.

· Strong communication skills.

· Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Able to adapt to the ongoing changes in the construction field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $69,000.00 per year
