Description
This non-exempt hourly position requires full-time hours Monday through Friday at our Jacksonville office. The hourly rate is commensurate with experience. This is not a remote position, applications will not be considered for any applicant outside of a twenty mile radius of the branch.

Position Summary:
The Junior Collateral Processor is responsible for assisting the Mortgage Banker Finance team.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for daily mail deliveries and sorting of all incoming mail.
- Review and process notes in the warehouse system.
- Prepare necessary documentation for shipment.
- Ship all collateral on a daily basis.
- Reviews accuracy of incoming and outgoing wires in the warehouse system.
- Maintains database of closing agents in warehouse system.
- Participates in on-going training to develop further knowledge of the industry and changes that affect department.
- Complete all mandatory training sessions as required by management.
- Comply with bank procedures and follow regulatory, operational and security guidelines.
- Contribute to the bank team effort by working on special projects and reports, performing other job-related duties, at the discretion of the Supervisor.

Qualifications
Preferred Education/Experience/Software:
Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field or two years of experience within the financial services industry is preferred. Knowledgeable in a wide range of PC based retail banking related software.
Additional Requirements:
The responsibility to acquire and maintain the required knowledge of State and Federal Banking regulations and policies.
Training:
Responsible for the timely completion of all required compliance training such has BSA, Information Security, and other job specific training as assigned.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Professional office environment. While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to operate standard office equipment. The team member is frequently required to communicate and perceive. The position is primarily stationary and not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and requires sedentary work such as exerting up to 10 pounds of force 5% of the time and a negligible amount of force approximately 95% of the time.
