SUMMARY
Responsible for reviewing and analyzing data gathered to assess reasonable cause to escalate in inquiry related to fraud.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains credit and debit card general ledger accounts.
Captures blocked cards, maintains logs on stolen cards, and processes disputes and maintains GL associated with said transactions (signature based).
Reviews and processes ATM cards.
Reviews exception reports to determine fraud.
Maintains and distributes credit and debit card reports daily.
Boards new credit card members, performs file maintenance, and balances the VISA draw down request using the Base 2000 System.
Assists in preparing the VISA Quarterly Certificate Reports for credit and debit cards.
Resolves operational issues with the credit and debit card processor.
Assists members in the resolution of fraudulent activities.
Evaluates and recommends credit and debit card procedures to ensure effective operational practices and minimize losses.
Processes all VISA credit card and debit card disputes according to VISA regulations.
Reviews exception reports from neural network to determine fraud.
Reviews daily email and report monitoring of Falcon Fraud program.
Evaluates and recommends credit and debit card procedures to ensure effective operational practices and to minimize losses.
Offline VISA (AFCU Card System) - balances and posts payments daily.
Regularly attends and participates in in-house training.
Performs duties as assigned by management and may be assigned to work at any location.
QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Education and Experience
Knowledge of branch operational activities.
Three years increasingly responsible related experience within a financial institution.
Knowledge
Experience with Symitar and Base2000.
Ability to perform a variety of adjustments and calculations to verify, update and correct members’ accounts.
Credit Union products, services, programs and promotions.
Experience with computer systems and software.
Other Skills and Abilities
Operates a variety of office equipment and machines.
Travels, attends, and participates in meetings, seminars, and conferences held before and after normal business hours that may require unaccompanied long-distance travel and overnight lodging.
Ability to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends.
