Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cherry Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking orders using a cherry picker or similar equipment in a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Duties
- Operate cherry picker and other lift trucks, including pallet jacks and reach trucks, to pick and transport products within the warehouse.
- Accurately select and gather items from shelves according to order specifications.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Perform quality checks on products before packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar role within a distribution center is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating cherry pickers, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management processes is a plus.
- Must be able to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
