Summary
The Inside/Counter Sales position is responsible for increasing sales and profit by efficiently and courteously assisting customers with selecting and purchasing products, while assisting the outside sales team with meeting their customer’s expectations.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 1 year of the following experience is required:
- Customer Service Experience
- Applicable Industry Experience
- Progressive industry Experience
- Must possess basic computer and math skills.
- Must pass company required drug screen and physical.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead. Routinely drives/operates forklifts; works with tools, and equipment. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention. Construction and Warehouse environment with variable but moderately high noise levels. Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required. Work in varying weather conditions. A consistent presence at work is required.
In order to operate a forklift, the operator must be a minimum age of 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification.
