What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counseling Secretary position at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy?
This role provides a wide variety of secretarial support to the Academy’s School Counseling Department, as well as other general school-wide support as necessary. The successful candidate will work in the Academy’s counseling office and have a high-level of interaction with counselors, staff, and students.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, students, and parents
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, parents, employees, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Mail)
- Previous experience working in a school setting
- Experience working with Infinite Campus Student Management System (preferred)
